I’d like to start off by saying THANK YOU, LANI for everything you have done for me, with T-Tapp in general, and through this fantastic online course. It truly has been a wonderful experience for me and has evolved into the gateway for me to become a T-Tapp Trainer. When I first enrolled in your course, and decided to make the trek to Northern California for your afternoon clinic, I was mainly just interested in learning as much about T-Tapp as I could. I was very intrigued by this form of exercise, as I was having some excellent results since beginning in October and wanting to continue with it and learn more. I also admired you as a role model and knew I’d be studying with an expert. As far as my overall experience with the T-Tapp workout itself, it has been more than wonderful. As I have progressed and continued to learn, I found myself with a strong desire to share it with others.
One of my favorite elements of the workout is that it can be performed at home, without any equipment, and using only my body as a machine. I also love the fact that I am always improving. The workout will never be truly mastered, and I’m okay with that! I want to keep challenging my body and improving, working out smarter, not harder. The mind-body connection is also amazing. No music, no mindless movements… every movement has a purpose and when I THINK about it, I gain the most benefit. The workout is challenging… yes, and the results are absolutely worth it. It is such a joy to look at my “before” photos, and compare them to today... super motivating! I am also enjoying the benefits of the way I FEEL on a day to day basis. Here are just some of the improvements:
• Increased energy
• Ready to tackle the day (morning workouts)
• Good routine
• Better mood
• Easier to sleep (more consistent sleep habits)
• Loss of inches (over 20 inches since October!)
• Amazing posture improvement (I was a chronic sloucher)
• Increased strength and muscle density
• Muscle definition
• Increased flexibility
• No more sciatica pain
• No more outer hip pain
Overall, the sense of community for this online course has been exactly what I expected. There was excellent participation overall, and Lani, you were a great facilitator for it. You created a comfortable, yet dynamic environment in which everyone could participate, and always showed encouragement. I know many students were curious about how you could participate in a P.E. course online, but they were pleasantly surprised on how effective it was. I would attribute this to both the at-home nature of the workout, while learning something completely new (to most students). There is a bit of study of T-Tapp involved, and not just showing up to a P.E. class for an hour and jumping around. I have also found that the structure of the course was superb! Each week built upon the previous making the course progressive. It is evident that a lot of hard work, thought, and experience were put into designing the course. Most excellent!
Lani, your feedback was always excellent… well-timed, prompt, and constructive. I valued every response you wrote not only to me, but to my fellow students. I was not only able to learn from my own T-Tapp workouts, but from others’ experiences as well. Honestly, I would not change a thing about this online course. I’m sure I speak for many others when I say that I received SO many benefits from participating. I am truly amazed at how wonderful this class is. This is my first time taking an on-line course thru a University.
* The environment and all functionalities of the classroom website is understandable and easy to navigate
* The materials that have been presented throughout the class projects and assignments are very detailed and and helpful
* All of the discussion boards are extremely motivational and allow you to converse within a non-threatening area with people who have similar fitness goals as you do.
However, none of this would truly work without a patient and understanding teacher. Lani has not only gone out of her way to make sure all participants are up to speed (via e-mail, postings on the disscussion boards,phone calls, etc.) she also takes the time to make sure her directions are understood. Her "office hours" have also been beneficial as well as her offerings to students to put their studies to the test by joining her LIVE classes or other T-Tapp classes around the U.S.
All in all I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to be able to lead their life AND enhance their knowledge at their own pace and within their own home!

I signed up for the online T-Tapp class expecting to learn more about my body and why the workout works so well, for accountability, and to learn how to perform the workout better. All three of these goals have been achieved or exceeded during the course of the semester.
Lani's personality and care for her students is very well suited for the online environment. I have taken several online classes through the Art Institute Online and Butte College's online course compares quite well. There is a great sense of community and a lot of support found in the class room. The students really care about each other and Lani takes great care in keeping everybody up to speed on the assignments. Feedback from both students and instructor have been very helpful and encouraging. The video assignments have been a great help to me. There are no "live" T-Tapp classes near enough to my home for me to attend and Lani's written critiques of my workouts have really helped me fix areas of my form to intensify my workouts. Having attended online courses in the past, I can't imagine how much time Lani spends with each of us in class, based on her responses to me alone. She is very available to the students. She has also tailored the class to this group of students by creating topic threads in the discussion area based on things that this group of students are dealing with. She has been very flexible and is very concerned that the online community is working for us. I am pleased with how the California community college online course is going and have even considered working on my course work in Graphic Design based on how much I'm enjoying this class. The online class with Butte College has been amazing...more than I ever expected -- and I plan to take it again this summer. I’m listing some of the benefits to me in having this class available.
~I have a better understanding of physiology in general and exercise physiology specifically.
~I have truly appreciated all of the resources you have provided such as muscle charts and the chart of the lymphatic system
~ The commitment to the class has insured that I exercise consistently.~ The specific weekly exercise assignments have been excellent for me in that they’ve encouraged me to review beginner / instructional material that I had thought I was beyond. By reviewing this material I have gained significantly in an understanding of form
~The individualized video feedback is invaluable in helping me understand what I’m doing wrong and what I’m doing right. When you exercise on your own, it’s easy to think “you’ve got it” when you don’t.
~Because the videos span the course, it has allowed me to keep moving to the next step in proficiency in form.
~The interactive community of students is invaluable. With the course structure, each week we are not only assigned to write about our own workouts, but to exchange thoughts / ideas /encouragement with others. Sometimes a word of encouragement or understanding is all it takes to keep on going with exercise or get up and go today rather than putting it off. I consider this on-line class (T-Tapp with Ms. Lani Muelrath) nothing short of superb. I never dreamed that I would enjoy any sort of physical activity, but I was mistaken. I have been motivated by being held responsible for assignments, workouts, quizzes, and other tasks. Not only does it provide the structure that I need, but also has impressed upon me the necessity of self-discipline to commit to regular physical activity. The students in this class are very close. We consider ourselves a team. We are able to encourage each other on through Discussion Boards, responses and remarks from weekly assigned readings, and chat rooms that created especially for this class. This on-line experience provides support and encouragement to every team member. This close interaction between the students, as well as between the instructor and students is terrific - a camaraderie is second to none. Some students feel vulnerable in a typical classroom setting. I am one of these students. The on-line classroom setting provides a safe way for us to communicate. This on-line experience gives us an opportunity to learn and gain self-confidence, as well as obtaining the tools to be physically and emotionally healthy.
It is not possible to have a winning team without a Coach. Ms. Lani Muelrath is always available to answer questions, encourage, and share her vast knowledge in the fitness and physical education fields. Ms. Muelrath offers teacher/student conference opportunities on a weekly basis where students we can gather and discuss various topics. We are encouraged to ask questions about any phase of T-Tapp. Ms. Muelrath gives us a vast variety of media to work with. She gives us personalized attention, encouragement, and support. We look to her as our mentor. This on-line class is right on target. I look forward to each day of posts and assignments. The Online T-Tapp course is an extremely valuable and very needed course. It has taken my T-Tapp practice to a new level thanks to a well thought out structure and an experienced teacher. I was a bit skeptical about it's value when I signed up thinking that an online course would be limiting in many respects but to my delight I have found it to be just the opposite. In many ways it actually was more beneficial then going to a live class in that it provided consistent education and practice in my own home environment which made it very practical. The video critiquing was a real highlight and helped me understand the areas I needed to improve and gave me the individualized attention I needed.
Lani is not only a very proficient teacher in many areas but her knowlege of T-Tapp and it's amazing benefits never ceases to amaze me. I have definitely got way more out of this class then I ever expected and not only gained a lot of important knowlege and practice but made a handful of really good friends on the forums. I will definitely be signing up again and look very forward to watching the development of this course over the next period of time. And thanks to Butte College for making it all happen. I'm sure this will be a growing environment in the future with many exciting additions. I must add here at the end not because it is of the least importance but because it is really the grand finale for me. I have lost 33.25 inches and 3 whole dress sizes during the course of this class. I am thrilled beyond words. The design of this course has worked extremely well for me. I work out when it's best for me, weekly assignments are done on my own time, and most importantly I have a place to check in and be accountable to. The personalized attention has proven to be invaluable. The video assignments have provided some of the biggest lessons for me. Iunderstand form much better now. The course is designed to both motivate and support the learner at the same time. Through Lani's gentle guidance and well thought out course plan, I have been able to increase my physical activity and stay true to my busy work schedule. The online environment is uniquely designed to assist the returning (possibly I should say--adult) learner by providing the opportunity to work learning and personal growth into an already tight schedule. I personally have seen growth in my ability to properly complete the T-Tapp workout and have received such positive constructive criticism from video analysis and reflection that I am starting to self-correct my form (which is critical to the T-Tapp workout). The weekly online questions and discussions have afforded me the opportunity to to ponder my physical fitness level, share positives and concerns as well as respond to my classmates.

I'm happy to have this opportunity to express how glad I am that I signed up for my first ever 'online' class. This experience has really been more than I ever expected!
It is easy for me to say after taking this class that I would gladly sign up for another one!I can only hope that the standards for whatever class I choose next, whether here in Illinois, or out of state, can keep up with the standard's that the T-Tapp Wellness class has. This class has been 'top notch'! For me, being an 40 something adult, I was nervous about taking college classes, but I've had nothing but a positive experience thus far, and am looking forward to jumping in again to sign up over the summer, locally. Every email I've written to you, has been welcomed and answered extremely fast. I've always been amazed at the promptness! Also, when signing up to register out of state, I had some problems with fully understanding what I was suppose to do. Each time I called Butte College, the staff there were excellent,and helped in every way they possibly could! I love the format of the class, as well. It's easy to find things relating to the class that I am in need of, and the descriptions of everything are detailed and helpful.
This class has gotten me through some rough times in my life that I've been experiencing lately. It's helped to keep me 'accountable' in my search for health and fitness, and it's made me step out of my 'box' to reachout to others to get to know one another in this online format. I have nothing but kudos' to give to you, as an instructor. You're enthusiasm is contagious, and your compassion is refreshing in this day and age when people are far to busy to take a moment to notice one another.

Hi Lani, The experience in class was better than I anticipated. I learned more than I have in live classes so far in a shorter period of time. I attribute that to the discussions, extra material that Lani supplied (usually you have to search for it), individual critiquing from the video assignments and Lani gets to know us better since we're able to share more online. The online community was very encouraging and helpful. No matter how long the person had been tapping, everyone enhanced the online experience in some way. Lani coached us beyond the call of duty. When I was unable to continue with the class, she offered me options to continue my accountability for my wo's. Also, gave me an option to continue my instruction by phone. Since I've been experiencing a couple of health issues T-Tapp has kept me from getting worse. It relieves some of the bloating from estrogen that my body wasn't assimilating to. It gives me energy in the morning so I can get a few things done until I get a final diagnosis and therapy plan from my sleep study. The online class is a great way to keep in shape even if you're participating in live classes. I will sign up for more classes without hesitation. Lisa Davis, CA

I really like T-Tapp. I was a little skeptical at first that T-Tapp
would challenge me as much as my gym workouts had. I was shocked by how
sore my muscles were, and how many inches I lost with this workout! I
think the most challenging aspect was motivation. The most
enjoyable was the way I felt after exercising. And seeing all of the
great results (no more knee pain, less back pain, better posture, and
better shape). Your interaction through posts and emails was great. Sometimes it was
just the encouragement I needed for insecurity on form and technique. I really enjoyed this class. I can’t wait to take a live class on
campus when I am able. I am in the process of encouraging my aunt to

Lani, I have enjoyed this class and have learned a lot! I was impressed with the fact of losing inches and not to be worried about the aspect of weight. I believe that the weight concern was my downfall when I would diet. I would get on the scale almost every other day and of course there was disappointment every time that I got off. But this course has showed me improved body without the pressure of having to deprive myself of nutrition that my body desperately needed. I enjoy the Place/Half Frogs. I have come to find out that holding my organs in place has really helped with the “baby fat.” This exercise is a winner for me.
I have taken internet classes in the past and have found that they are more personal than being in a classroom setting. When I am in the classroom I don’t always communicate with everybody unless we are engaged in an activity but on line we are able to read everyone’s comments and be able to help them when it is needed. The e-mails and discussion boards are so helpful. I get to read everyone’s opinions, triumphs, struggles and successes. I think that this is important because it gets others through struggles and gives others hope that this course can really work for a person. When repeating students attend this class it is also nice because we get to hear how this class has worked for others in the past.
I will continue to work on these exercises and keep improving on myself. I have learned that I have more energy and feel better overall when I do these exercises. I want to thank you for your help and encouraging words that I have read during discussions. It is nice and helpful to have an instructor who knows the material and uses it on a daily basis. Lani,I have really enjoyed this class! The most enjoyable part is seeing, and feeling results with minimum work. Although it was tough to find time to fit it into my busy schedule at first, it got easier as I time went on.
I did experience a sense of community, even though I took it online. I enjoyed reading others comments, and encouraging others. The lessons were well organized, and user friendly. It was easy to understand what was expected of us each week, which is very important to me. It was well organized, and comprehensive. Coming to LIVE class really helped me to improve on my T-Tapp skills, and to learn proper techniques. Each time you helped me to increase my results through proper positioning.

I enjoyed the T-Tapp experience because of the flexibity of the class. Since I work full time and have two kids I was able to do my workouts around my schedule. The most challenging process is being able to learn the coordination required for the movements! I found the progression of lessons well suited for the class. I felt I was well supported by the instructor. I was very impressed by the level of detail the instuctor gave me on my [exercise form] feedback. Since so many students repeat this class I would develop a T-Tapp Two class! ~ William L., PA
My experience with the T-Tapp workout has been awesome. It makes exercise fun!!!! The Beginner/Rehab is the workout I love the best. It has a whole variety of exercises. The most challenging would probably be KLT. It is difficult to hold that stance!!!
This is the first time I have taken an on-line course and I love it!!! It is our own little class/family. Any questions you had, you could just ask and instantly get a response. The lessons were organized very well. You didn't rush us right into the hard part. (Thank goodness!) This course was awesome and a lot of fun!It is really sad that it has to end. Lani, I thought that this program was awesome. I could be in class with my
other studies all day and come home and T-tapp at whatever time of day
was good for me. In nursing school each day is a different schedule so
it is very hard to take any other courses along with nursing school but
T-tapp was not a problem. Even though I had not met many of my class
mates through the semester I have gotten to know so many of them and
the online class seems close and supportive. We would build upon each
week of previous instruction so I was continually challenged and
learned something new each week.
Whenever I emailed the instructor
she would respond back immediately, I never had to wait. During this semester I have lost inches,
weight and pain from my lower back and feet. I gained a lot more
coordination, experience with a new expercise program and more self
confidence. T-Tapp isn't over for me at the end of this semester, this
