A physician and nutrition expert who teaches better health through vegetarian cuisine, Dr. John McDougall has been studying, writing and “speaking out” about the effects of nutrition on disease for over 36 years. Lani Muelrath, M.A., CGFI, CPBN, also known as The Plant-Based Fitness Expert, specializes in helping people who struggle with weight and energy transform their bodies — and lives — without hunger or exercising like a maniac. She has over 30 years of experience as a teacher, coach, and trainer. Lani is author of Fit Quickies: 5 Minute Targeted Body Shaping Workouts (Penguin, 2013).
Lani has been Guest Lecturer in Kinesiology at San Francisco State University and is Associate Professor in Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Athletics at Butte College. She created and starred in her own CBS TV show, “Lani’s All-Heart Aerobics.” Recipient of the Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Instruction, Lani has a master’s degree and multiple fitness certifications and teaching credentials in Physical Education. She is certified in Plant-Based Nutrition through Cornell University, and regularly speaks and writes about health and fitness.

Lani overcame her own lifetime struggle with weight over 15 years ago when she lost 50 pounds, which she has maintained easily with the tools including a whole foods, low-fat, plant-based diet, simple exercise, and mastery of mindset that she coaches others to be successful with in weight loss, body shaping, and health.
